Community calendar events must meet one of the following criteria:
- Municipal operated events
- Events operated by Region of Halton
- Events open to the public for which the municipality approves a special event permit and/or approves the use of public rights-of-way or municipal property
- Events open to the general public held in Burlington and organized by not-for-profit organizations
- Regional events approved by Tourism Burlington
