Statutory Public Meeting Information
You are invited to attend a Statutory Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider the staff recommendation report concerning the above mentioned application.
The City of Burlington has received an application from Bloomfield Developments to register a plan of subdivision on the lands located at 5219 Upper Middle Road, 2004 & 2005 Georgina Court, and Blocks 262 & 263 of Plan 20M-824 as shown on the sketch below. The Planning and Development Committee of Council will be holding a statutory public meeting to consider a staff recommendation for this application. The purpose of this application is to create four lots for detached and semi-detached dwellings on an extension of Georgina Court, and three blocks for townhouses, a public walkway/overland flow route, and a road widening (Upper Middle Road). The site is zoned Orchard Community Residential with Site Specific Exceptions (RO2-487 & RO2-488) which permits two detached, four semi-detached, and 14 townhouse units. The property is designated Residential Medium Density in the Citys Official Plan, which permits ground and non-ground oriented dwellings with a density ranging between 26 and 50 units per net hectare. No changes to the zoning by-law or official plan designation are proposed.
