The Right Reverend Susan Bell, Bishop of the Niagara Anglican Diocese, will officially dedicate a new columbarium which has been installed at St. Matthew on-the-Plains Cemetery, located at 126 Plains Road East in the Aldershot area of Burlington.  The columbarium, which has 84 niches, including an ossuary, will add capacity to this historic cemetery which is open to all.  The cemetery, established in 1832, has had no space available since the end of the 1990’s.  This addition will allow more families to link their memories to this area, and its peaceful surroundings.
