The City of Burlington is looking for resident feedback on City-run recreation programs. Feedback is welcome from the community as a whole - past and current participants and those that haven’t registered in our programs.

Feedback from everyone will help to understand the needs of the entire community. The survey will ask questions about what City-run recreation programs you have participated in, what programs you would be interested in and, would like to see offered.

This review will help the City understand the recreation needs of our growing community. It will also help align the programs the City offers to serve all residents and visitors for aquatics, skating, inclusion, sport, camps, adults, older adults 55+ and programming in general for years to come.

• Arcadis Professional Services (Canada) Inc. is hosting a pre-application community meeting on behalf of the property owners to discuss the proposed redevelopment of the site located at 1020 Emery Avenue, Burlington.
• The proposed development of the subject lands features 4 buildings ranging from 11 to 19 storeys. Buildings A, B and C will be residential, and Building D will be a mixed-use building with 346 sq. m of ground floor retail. The proposal will have a total of 678 dwelling units and 775 parking spaces (762 residential spaces and 13 commercial spaces) in three levels of underground parking and surface parking.
• Access to the site is proposed from Emery Avenue and the future road to the north. Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment applications are required to permit the proposed development.

Free Introduction and lessons every Wednesday.  Some on out and give lawn bowlng a try.  This sport is great for children (8-18) and adults of all ages.  This social sport can be a competitive as you want it to be.  You can bowl most days twice a day, we also offer many fun and social events.  No need to sign up, just turn up wearing flat soled shoes - eg. running shoes.  We supply all the equipment and instruction.  We are a not-for-profit organization, entirely run by great volunteers

Burlington’s journey to become a municipality started on Sept. 9, 1873 when the villages of Wellington Square and Port Nelson merged to become the Village of Burlington.
